Fort William

Scottish town, Fort William is situated at the foot of the highest peak in the UK, Ben Nevis (1344 m). The view at the top of this mountain is quite impressive since it is possible to see up to 75km weather cleared.
For me I'm not up on top, so I can not say more. A still know that each year a race to reach the summit and return to Fort William is organized at the current record is 1 hour and 25 minutes for men.

All those who are fan of Harry Potter, will be pleased to hear that the Harry Potter train is visible to the city Mallaig, but that the bridge visible in this saga is between Mallaig and Fort William.
